Hello all new guy here. I was just watching the game and thought I would join the site to join in on some good Ohio State discussions.

Good to see our boys pull this one off tonight even though it should have never been this close. Sullinger is dominate and I have always been a fan of his since high school. He played a great game.

Sullinger is a freakin man-child out there. He's got some serious offensive skills that I haven't seen out of a big man in a while...yeah that's right, not Oden or Koufus or Mullens. Sully has some mad game. Love watching his intensity out there.

I completely disagree. The team recognized that IUPUI had no answer for Jared and fed him the ball the way Charlie Weis's mommy fed him cheeseburgers. Unselfish team play that got us the win.

In my opinion, this game was not so much a matter of Ohio State playing badly (though obviously not our best effort) as it was IUPUI playing really, really well. This is how mid-majors pull upsets.

Yes....this.

I thought they played great team ball in the second half by working the ball to Sully. A lot of great feeds by guys who could've taken it themselves...sweet passes off the top of my head by Diebs, Buford and Lighty for easy dunks.

They took advantage of the advantage....that's what an intelligent and unselfish team does. Now if only the defense can ramp up their intensity for an entire game and not just the last 10 minutes...

Yep. I was commenting out loud in the first half that we were actually playing pretty good defense and controlling the boards. They were just making some really difficult shots and staying in their offense even though we were on them. Props to IUPUI for the effort. Our guys have to gain a mean streak by Big10 season.
