Oo-ee-poo-ee. Lots of local guys on the team. Won't be a test at all for the Bucks, but it's good to see them back in action.

Alex Young- pretty good lefty. Lanky, but can score. Shooting stats don't look that great, but I've seen him start lighting it up from 3. Skinnier (by a lot) Deshaun Thomas. Microwave type game.

Stephen Thomas- transfer from Dayton, decent PG, quick dribble, actually reminds me A LOT of Chris Thomas if anyone remembers that kid from Notre Dame was also from the Indy area, though I don't think there's any relation.

Ron Hunter- good coach, great guy. Started a trend of coaching a game barefoot to raise awareness for Samaritan's Feet, an organization that takes and donates shoes to kids in Africa.

Since they play a zone defense so much will depend upon our outside shooting when it comes to the over/under:)

? Matchup to watch: The Buckeyes had trouble with Morehead State's zone defense Nov.23, turning the ball over a season-high 16 times. Coach Thad Matta said IUPUI has shown multiple zone defenses in its previous games. The goal is to get more shots inside the zone than three-pointers over it.

? Notable: Ohio State began the week ranked second in NCAA Division I defense, allowing 51.8 points per game; Cincinnati (51.4) was first. The Buckeyes defeated IUPUI 83-70 on this date in 2001 in the only previous meeting between the programs. IUPUI is 0-3 on the road, losing at Miami University, St. Louis and Gonzaga. . . . The Jaguars average 20 free throws and make 15.

Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis

It's a combined satellite campus where kids can get degrees from either school depending on which course they take. All located in downtown Indy.

edit- and Steve beats me with that really southern speed. :lol:

looking at IUPUI

looks like they have little to no depth at the guard positions

their most played bench guard only plays 9 minutes per game....and their top scoring bench guard only scores 2 points per game

this one could get real ugly as their starting guards wear down
