So, it has been an interesting day for me.....I got a cease and desist order from my previous employer saying that I violated my non compete, because we proposed on a job with me as the lead. They also sent one to my company.

Have they given me one week to respond is that what your are asking? They sent me a letter to sign saying I hadn't done it..

I wish it was....I really don't get what they are thinking. I did not directly work with this client or on their projects.

I can honestly say yes to this....I informed my new company of my non-compete. I was approached after a presentation at a conference by someone from the client but not anyone I was aware of. They sent us the request for proposal....
