No different than Pope John Paul II or Benedict XVI or any other religious leader who poisons the minds of their followers with lies about the promise of life after death. In what other business can you get wealthy off of selling people an intangible product (and even get a tax exempt status while doing it) that isn't delivered until after they are dead and then having no way of verifying delivery, and not be accused of running a scam?
