Gold Pants
IT DOESN'T MATTER

It doesn't matter that they have lost 8 games this season and
It doesn't matter that they are the laughing stock of the Big Ten,
Nor does it matter that this is the worst team in scUM history,
It's still THE GAME!!

It doesn't matter that their starting QB is injured and
It doesn't matter that their starting RB will not be playing,
Nor does it matter that their season has been a train wreck from the get go,
It's still THE GAME!!

It doesn't matter that they lost to Appalachian State last year and
It doesn't matter that they lost to a MAC team this year (they really do suck you know),
Nor does it matter that they won't make a bowl game for the first time in 30+ years,
It's still THE GAME!!

It doesn't matter that we are 24 point favorites and
It doesn't matter that we have won six out of the last seven games,
Nor does it matter that we will also have home field advantage,
It's still THE GAME!!

This is about PRIDE!! It's about HISTORY!! It's about TRADITION!! It's about the GREATEST RIVALRY in all of sports!! It's about BRAGGING RIGHTS for the next year!! It's about WE DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE WHOLE STATE OF MICHIGAN!! It's about a BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP!!

This is THE GAME!! And IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER how much TSUN sucks and IT DOESN'T MATTER what each teams records are, it will always be THE GAME!!

GO BUCKS!! Beat scUM!!

:osu:

:oh:

It's The Game, they'll be fired up and it would suck worse that I'm able to imagine to lose to this version of the Vulvarenes. We have to come out low, hard, and take the game away from them right away.

I hate scUM.

Will Tressel let the team run up the score? Or will he restrain them?

How much of a point difference should we expect to see? And will Andre Ware criticize Tressel for running up the score?

Will Mark May point out all of Terrell Pryor's freshman mistakes? Will he sing the praises of the rising star QB Nick Sheridan?

All this and more remains to be seen!

As bad as Michigan has been this year...they have been in every game in the 4th quarter. They've played 2 teams ranked higher than us...Utah and Penn State, and even though Penn State rolled them eventually, most of those points were in the 4th quarter. They are not very good this year, but this is their season. This is their bowl game. I will be very surprised if we can just go into this game and "name the score". I don't think the score will end up close, but I don't think it will be over in the third quarter. Ohio State has never been this big of a favorite. Neither team has ever had 8 losses. But if you know anything about The Game, you know that when one team is favored by a lot, it doesn't mean they are certain to win. This is The Game for a reason. The best team up until this game doesn't always win this game...it's the best team on THAT DAY. And in The Game, more than any other game of the year, the best team on that day is often different from the best team the rest of the year. Who knows what Dick Rod will bring. Pretty obvious what Tressel and the Buckeyes will bring. We better play well, and I believe we will. But if you think that Michigan being 3-8 makes this a cakewalk, then I hope your feelings don't rub off on the team. This won't be an easy game. Never is...never will be. Michigan can leave it all on the field, they won't have another game for nine months. If we win a close one, ANY fan who isn't extremely extatic, is not much of a Buckeye fan in my eyes. Just as any Michigan fan who is happy if they lose a close one, isn't much of a Michigan fan in my eyes. You play this game to win...nothing more, nothing less. Would I like to but a beat down on them? OF COURSE! But will any win be just a special to me? HELL YES!!!

GO BUCKS!!! BEAT 3-8 BLUE!!!

anybody know who the Honorary captain is this week?

Is Andre Ware dotting the i this week?

Is Herbie going to put the Wolverine mascot head on?

Admit it: this week we are glad for Tressel Ball. Control the ball, don't turn it over, play good field position. that alone won't win games but it will prevent The Big Mistake, whidch is the only chance scUM has, us making a Big Mistake.

Can't wait! Hope we send the seniors out on a proud note. This is the greatest game, the greatest tradition and the greatest rivalry in college athletics. Let's put another beatdown on Scum!

GO BUCKS!

On BP, there is no point spread. Let's keep thinking that way. I am not about to go into The Game expecting a 20+ point win. That's not how this thing works. It's a 60 minute war. We are going to see the best 60 minutes M*ch*g*n has played all year, and they are going to see the best 60 minutes we've played all year.

Throw out the records; it's a one game season. :oh:

It would indeed be awesome, if we could end the regular season, then celebrate Thanksgiving, after a major beatdown of the weasels.
