Is there still a concern for lack of bench support?

in regards to possible exhaustion, though, you can't like that a flu/stomach bug has been traveling through the team. sickness and finals week and three games in three days (with one being a double-overtime game) and a short bench... that is not a favorable combination. i know that matta has stated that the team will be fine by friday, but it would be foolish for a coach to claim otherwise.

Although the committee did tOSU no favors by placing them in the same bracket as Kansas, at least they're not playing until late on Friday, which will help that situation somewhat.

if we're discussing things that make us worry, one worry i do have is that the big 10 was extremely weak with big men this season. the only true post player worthy of being mentioned is purdue's johnson, who had one monster game against the bucks and one poor game. most of the other big 10 big men--namely, tisdale and luers--are more than happy to step out for a bucket. minnesota's iverson is getting better, but he is still well below johnson's level.

as such, i'll be rooting for okie state to beat georgia tech. if ohio state faces georgetown, lauderdale better not get early fouls (he probably will) and our jumpers better be on.

I've heard people mention that they're concerned about the lack of bench support for Ohio State and how they won't be able to play late into the tournament due to exhaustion. I'm still trying to understand this because of the following:

We just played 3 days straight very hard fought games (including a double overtime).

In at least one of those games (according to Titus) there was some suffering of possible food poisoning and yet we played an amazing game against Minnesota to win the Tournament Title.

We have at least a day off between each game now and our top5 have proven they could play a full 40 minutes without issue.

I'll defer this more over to the experts (you guys) but I don't see why there's cause for concern after what's happened with the Big10 Tourney

My concern isn't exhaustion. My concern is foul trouble or, don't even want to think about it, injury.

If we keep our 6 guys on the floor we can play with anybody. If we have to go deeper, it's a huge question mark because those guys just don't play.
