That game shouldn't have even gone to OT.My late wife and I went to the 2002 Illinois game in Champaign-Urbana. That's one of my great memories. The overtime was thrilling.

Illinois is a great road trip. The campus is pretty decent, the stadium is nice, getting in and out of the game is a breeze, the Illini fans are usually very friendly (unless you're a drunken ass but that kinda goes without saying), and the bars the night before are awesome. Don't pass up the opportunity to attend a game there.

at the end, Illini fans were chanting "over-rated" and an equal number of Buckeye fans were chanting "unde-feated." it was a great scene. Buckeye road trips are VERY cool. do not pass up an opportunity to see Ohio State on the road. at Indiana is probably the coolest of all, because Ohio State fans outnumber the Hoosiers. and who can forget 1996 when the Bucks clinched the Rose Bowl berth, and the fans stormed the field and tore down the Hoosiers' goalposts! That game shouldn't have even gone to OT.

There is nothing better than going to a home game in our amazing environment but going on the road and hearing the OH--IO around an opposing teams stadium absolutely gives you chill bumps. I am going to head up to the Ill game this year. You should be able to buy tickets from the Ill athletic site. I went to the NW game back in 04' and that was an amazing time. Chicago bars don't close till 4:00 AM and the fans treat you great. The local bars around their dry campus had "Welcome OSU fans"; which is something you would never see in the Cbus, AA, EL, Wisky, SC. Again, no worries about finding tickets, it's still like a home game, and you get to check out a new stadium and campus. You can drink on the El train out of Chicago to Walker Stadium and I am pretty sure you can do the same to Ill. The Ill and NW stadiums gives you the oppurtunity to visit another Big10 stadium without dealing with any hassles at all. I say go if you have the oppurtunity. Make a weekend out of it and live it up in Chi-Town!
I have to agree! See any game you can!Stupid question
I have the chance to go to the Illinois game, but there's a lot of hoops to jump through in doing so. I've only been to one game (Miami, OH 2005 @ The Shoe) in my life. I'm hoping to get some tix to another home game this year. So... I want to go, who would pass up the chance to see the Bucks, right? But... vs. Illinois? I can't imagine it's going to be much of a game.
I'm kind of leaning towards saving the money and trying for Penn St., or THE Game. What do you think? Need a little help. Thanks!
