The point I was trying to make is that I don't give such things much thought.

FWIW: I think Herbie picks based on who he thinks will win with one exception: Once in awhile he'll make a pick against the Bucks if he thinks it'll motivate them. He said point-blank that he does this on his radio show back in 2002. And every time he does this (or picks against them because he's being objective), he gets skewered for not being enough of a Buckeye.

Wow. GameDay is going to Amherst @ Williams?

There were a lot of marquee games on tap for this weekend, but they mostly got wiped out in the chaos of the 2007 season, such as Michigan @ Wisconsin, Florida St @ Virginia Tech, Florida @ South Carolina, Auburn @ Georgia, and USC @ Cal. Most of these games are for BCS bowl games, but not the big BCS bowl game, so their value was diminished.

If this weekend wasn't set up perfectly for the Warriors to get GameDay (Fresno St @ Hawaii), I'm guessing it will never happen. Setting that up in one week is likely just a logistical nightmare.

haha USC/Notre Dame.

Supposedly they are a really big rivalry...? I have never heard of it, but it doesn't mean that it isn't a rivalry. I would rather see them at Florida/S Carolina. That story makes more sence.
