Iowa WR Dominique Douglas (Iowa signee, transfer to ???)

guys, thanks for the feedback. I just don't want to give up on guys that could be a difference maker---a.la. Ausberry...

Derrell Johnson's open field skills are impressive as well...

no doubt...I think you still stay on Ausberry, although according to wstripes and the other USC people he is all but signed, sealed and delivered to USC, despite what he says publically. Johnson just has to help himself by getting things taken care of in the classroom. A lot of how things play out with guys like Ausberry, Johnson, Small and Thomas will dictate whether someone like Douglas gets an offer. We won't know for sure since we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, ie. how the staff feels their chances are with guys like Ausberry and Small.

12/2

Dominique will visit Iowa this weekend. He says that his top three are Iowa (offer), Toledo (offer), and tOSU. Coach Haynes has been in contact with Douglas, and has told him that he would let him know after this weekend if he would have an offer or not. Coach Haynes told Douglas that he wants to have him down for a bowl practice. He will visit Bowling Green on 12/9 instead of tOSU.

Iowa football players Dominique Douglas and Anthony Bowman were arrested Sunday morning for unauthorized use of credit cards, according to a spokesman for the University of Iowa Department of Public Service.

Lt. Peter Berkson said today that the players were arrested for ?using stolen credit cards,? a felony. He said both players were released on their own recognizance.

Police records allege the players bought $2,016.76 worth of merchandise from three area businesses "using stolen credit cards belonging to two separate victims."

Just another sad story of a young man making bad life choices.

The bad choice, of course, being to select Iowa. If he had gone to Penn State, none of this would be a problem.
