Iowa HS wrestler defaults to avoid wrestling girl...

Last year a girl, Paige Nemith (SP?) from Crestwood HS made the state tournament in Ohio. If you don't follow wrestling, this means she had to finish fourth, or better, at Districts, and Sectionals. Paige is now at Lake Erie College, playing soccer only.

We had a girl on the wrestling team my Junior year. The best part was even at 103lbs she was sometimes bigger and stronger than the 103lbs guys she was wrestling.

Since I wrestled at 189 or 215 depending on the matchup, thankfully I didn't have to worry about it too much

You were safe, as long as your district had no girl wrestlers that wanted to be TSUN cheerleaders.

Well my junior year I had the pleasure of getting my ass kicked by Tommy Rowlands

I got destroyed by Tim Anderson also that year, after I had dislocated my elbow I lost my 189 spot and our 215 guy at that point was on a hot streak, so I got bumped to heavyweight.

but no, no TSUN cheerleading candidates...
