We need to convince Iowa to put in some Lineman in the slot. I think we might be able to cover that.

Fickell's been coaching here both when our D was amazing and now when it sucks. The rest of the defensive staff has only been here since it sucked. I don't think this is on Fickell

It isn't receiver speed that is beating OSU's back 7, it's positioning and a complete lack of awareness. They could put Mecha-Streisand out there and there wouldn't be anyone around it.

I've yet to see a pass for Iowa travel more than 6 yards in the air. Why are we not attacking the line, pressuring the QB and 'making' them beat us...??

Like I said, I don't mind giving up plays trying to utilize aggresive defense. Playing soft and letting the other team have their way however is a different story.
