Ultimately, the ineptitude of the secondary falls on the coaches. We are getting burnt by TE on rollouts and simple base Iowa offense. Inexcusable.

Iowa's OL is playing at a very high level right now. Nothing schematically can fix that. The cushions they're giving the TEs and WRs on the other hand...

My issue is not the play of the defense, it is that there has been zero improvement. If anything, we have regressed. Bend and don't break can work if you don't break. We are breaking.

It does remind me of the defense when Earle Bruce was the HC...
