Iowa 10, Illinois 6 (Final)

Great, just great.

I guess rich man Kirk Ferentz is not the world's worst football coach.

So much for next week's scUM game in Champaign.

Congrats to the Craptacular Hawkeyes! I guess crappy offense CAN win after all!

To quote G. Gordon Liddy, "GREED IS GOOD. GREED WORKS."

Thanks to Iowa actually playing a real live football game,

WHAT THE HELL is going to happen to next week's College Gameday?

scUM-Illinois was the only decent game for next week that Herbie and the gang could be at.

Now where will they go- USC/Notre Dame?

Now where will they go next Saturday- The almighty Trojans against the Stinking Irish?

Auburn-LSU? Florida-Kentucky, maybe. If there's one thing better than GameDay in South Bend, it's GameDay in SEC country!!!1!11

Well, there goes Illinois...America's Team!!! :slappy:

So does our Wahoo Michigan bandit still think they have better quality results than us now? :wink2:

It's one thing to be good for a few games when everyone thinks you suck...it's another to plan well an entire season when people start thinking you're good.

Losing to Iowa doesn't somehow diminish the quality of wins against Wisconsin, IU, and Penn State, so yeah, I still think Illinois' wins are better so far. Not "results" because that includes the losses, but yes, the teams Illinois has beaten are still of better quality than OSU's.

I am not trying to say that that alone would make Illinois a better team, though.

Just havin' fun with ya bro. We've got every chance we could ever ask for to make our statements the next 5 weeks.
