Man, I tried to be nice to them. I do look like an idiot. Mike and Scott were right. They have crazy high expectations.

Also, all of their scoring stats look impressive compared to ours if you only look at the per game average. Once you start looking at offensive efficiency and pace, you realize they are just running up and down the floor putting up shots and not playing defense. I bet their team is more like a pickup team, where you always have the slob too lazy to get back on defense, cherry picking at the other end. I am going to enjoy the trolling done after our 25 point win.

It is. No taxpayer money is going into Ohio State athletic facilities. It's all funded by the athletic department, sponsors, and private donations.

That guy actually went back to his board and gloated like he was some sort of champion getting banned from here. I would have enjoyed it more if he was in any way clever. Not all my stuff is the best, but at there are at least few funny jabs in there. He get's a D- for smack talk. He put in some effort so it's not an F.

Of course what to do expect from the USNWR 68th regional university in the North. Which would probably place them somewhere in the range of 500-600 range nationally, and that is actually being kind. They did beat out (just barely) such powerhouses as Western New England University and West Chester University of Pennsylvania. I guess $31,000 a year doesn't buy what it used to.

Middle 50% range on the ACT is 19-24. Seriously, why on earth would somebody pay private university prices to go to a school that's probably worse than the 4th or 5th best public university in their home states.

Is it so they can pretend they're domers or BC douches? Is it for the alter boys?

What's that you say? Little Jonny is too stupid to get into Harvard? Well, at Iona College, you still can pay for the private school experience without all those pesky standards getting in the way! Iona College, where everything is average, except for the bill!

That just seems to be a New England thing in general. Mediocre private schools dot the landscape like kudzu in the south while the state sponsored universities only began to separate themselves over the past 20 years or so.

Games like this help me with geography... I didn't know Iona existed... and then was very surprised that it's only about 5 miles east of Jersey....

It's kinda like... the only positive part of the strife in the middle east and Africa is that it teaches us geography... who woulda known where Kuwait or UAE was... or that there were other countries in Africa other than Egypt and Kenya
