New York Yankees batter Cleveland Indians' chance to sweep

New York- The Indians haven't swept the Yankees in the Bronx in 19 years. They still haven't because Paul Byrd couldn't keep the ball in the confines of Yankee Stadium on Thursday.
The Indians took the first two games of the series on David Dellucci's three-run pinch hit homer off Joba Chamberlain and a superb pitching performance by Cliff Lee, Rafael Perez and Rafael Betancourt. They were poised for the sweep Thursday afternoon, but the Yankees hit four homers on the way to a 6-3 victory.
"Yankee Stadium is a tough place to play," said manager Eric Wedge, "but when you win the first two, you want to win the last one. We had our opportunities, it just didn't happen."
