well, this is just as frustrating as it gets.

Gomez gets a leadoff double in the 9th (!!!). That's huge...but wait

Johnny Peralta strikes out (wtf?! get the runner over to 3rd...seriously) + why the hell isn't Cabrera pinch hitting so that he can bunt Gomez over

Next up Gutz strikes out...great

now barfield is up...this will be good.

edit- I can't believe it, but Barfield completes the hat trick, K's swinging. WTF? A leadoff f'n double and the next 3 batters K swining!! That is simply pathetic. It's beyond pathetic.

I really hope this team gets absolutely destroyed by the fans.

I want to see some classic Cleveland here. More than just boo's. I want bottles, coins, maybe a smokebomb set off. I don't know, this shit is just unacceptable.

Seriously, I will be shocked if this team finishes .500! They are that bad. No heart, no leadership and a baboon as the manager. I would say I hope we get slaughtered the rest of the way out so Wedge gets shitcanned, but our genius GM just gave the fuck an extension. I hope they get booed off he field until they at least pretend to play like a major league team.

Thank God football season is here.

Wedge = WORST MANAGER EVER

I don't understand why he wouldn't have Peralta bunt Gomez over to 3rd. I wouldn't be as upset if Peralta was hitting the ball and hitting it hard but he was 0 for 3 with 2 K's tonight going up to that at bat. I really wouldn't be surprised if C.C. wants to leave Cleveland because of this bullshit, they won't give him any run support.

1st, Peralta sucks at bunting. I believe he had a failed attempt just a few games ago.

the real problem comes with the fact that Asdrubal Cabrera is sitting on the bench. He's a speed guy, he can bunt, he plays Peralta's position. It looks like such an obvious move, yet Wedge let Peralta go up there and wail away.

Because that is strategy, something that clown doesn't understand. I'd love to sit next to Wedge in the dugout during the game just to see what it his he actually does. I'd bet it consists of little more than spitting sunflower seeds into a cup. Stick a fork in this team. They are done.

it doesn't matter if wedge has an extension, he can still get shitcanned.

jhonny peralta is indicative of what is wrong with this team. his stats are pure window dressing, as he provides absolutely nothing of value.

derick shelton would be fired tomorrow. you have one of the biggest offensive tailspins in baseball this year. you have what was possibly the best hitter in the AL last year in a perpetual nosedive. you have the most strikeouts with runners on base of any team in the AL.

if sizemore doesn't luck into a 1st inning dinger, cleveland gets shutout tonight against bonderman, who has been the travis hafner of AL pitchers since the all-star break.

I don't care who you are, its baseball fundamentals, I don't care who is up you bunt the base runner over to 3rd. It's common sense. Not only that but why do you bring in your closer when it's a tie ball game and he's been giving up runs left and right?
