Similar thought for me. It feels like the last few Cooper years in football.

Occasional spurts of good play, lack of any kind of consistent effort but at the end of the day knowing they would come up short with a degree of certainty approaching that of death.

I don't want Thad to make me hate him like I hate Cooper. Hopefully someone can put a package together for him that lets him ride off into the sunset with his dignity....but ride off into the sunset nonetheless.

I'll never hate Thad like that. He singlehandily revitalized a moribund basketball program that not many around the Olentangy actually gives a damn about, and did it without cheating his ass off. He'll always have my respect for that regardless of the way he decides to finish his career.

I'll always respect his overall body of work but if he hangs on a few more years and they are like the last 4-5 then his legacy will be tarnished.

Big Time.

Hate was probably too strong a word. There was only one Cooper.

I think he's lost the right to call the end. It's not like this is a one or two year slide. I have such respect for the way he's run a clean program, overcoming so many challenges. He is a class act.

The most difficult thing you will ever have to do as a leader is to tell a former mega star that the time has come. It's time for the AD to step up and bring this to an end.

I was there, first game in several years because the tickets were free, and the crowd audibly laughed at Loving's recorded pregame bit... because he was talking about "emotion". Most disappointing Buckeye bball career I can remember.
