Game Thread Indiana @ Ohio State - 10/06/18, 4:00PM (FOX)

Notice my complete absence from most of them. I'm not above saying stupid things.....but I don't plan to do it in a place that will live forever anymore.

In the time it took for Fox to air another round of commercials, we had the entirety of BP questioning if Urban was still alive. Shit's ridiculous (and that's just the silly side of it).

Agreed. I’m a little disappointed in him not keeping his word of letting Day run the offense without interference. But the suggestions that he’s going to retire because he took a knock to the head while trying to point out an open man in the end zone is hilarious. Has he looked worn down at times? Absolutely. Who wouldn’t be worn down trying to figure out why the defense is this bipolar? I’m sure he knew he would have his hands full, but I doubt he thought he would have this many problems defensively. It’s great having several tune up weeks to prepare for the back end of the schedule and CCG/Playoffs. I think the defense will always be a bit of a liability at times, but I also think they have the ability to minimize some of that as well.

I don't think it was a knock to the head, he said it was a flare of his cyst. Which doesn't sound like a healthy thing to have

Didn’t see the impact so hopefully the other stuff has no impact on this as you said.

Bruce Feldman, who was on OSU’s sideline, said he saw Urban Meyer shuffling down the sideline trying to point out the open man in the end zone, and ran into someone. My guess is that person he ran into had his arms up signaling a TD and elbowed Meyer accidentally.

Unfortunately, this is incorrect. Tagalovoa, or however you spell it, was crowned before the season started. Unless he has a serious dud that causes a bammer loss, he'll get it. Haskins could chuck 70 tiuchdowns and he ain't overcoming the SECspn hype machine.

Hype machine or no, a person who can put up Tua's numbers should get the Heisman. Lots of quarterbacks have played lots of crap schedules over the past hundred years; no one has come close to putting together a season like his.

The main knock against him is that he's attempting so few passes.

Doesn't matter to me. He's the best college football player in the country to my eyes. (It kills me to say it, but it's my genuine opinion)

I don't know, man.... Haskins has put up similar numbers against better competition. Guess we'll see as things play out.

His numbers are gaudy, if not at such a volume as others...but, they have literally played no one of note and they won't until November. He will literally have 2 months of tomato cans to build a head of steam. I have a hard time giving him too much credit when he has played nothing but scrubs.

I didn't realize how ridiculously soft their schedule is until i just looked at it. It's absurd.

No doesn't sound fucking healthy at all... I'm telling you guys...

I would start grasping Ryan Day as the head coach now.

I Just sense something is wrong.

Maybe I'm wrong? But something is off...

No matter what tho I love Urban... he's made our state proud.

In my opinion the numbers are not that similar.

It will be interesting to see how well Tua holds up against better competition when they've had a chance to game plan for him. But so far, the numbers for Tua are that much better in my opinion.

To me, he appears to have Dwayne's arm and much better legs.

We'll see if he looks as good after he plays someone with a pulse.
