O'Barthog has done a nice job this year. Other schools, or the NFL might well come sniffing around. If so, he's gone. And, with the sanctions in place, they wouldn't get anybody worth a damn to come coach there. It. Would. Be. Epic.

Good God, would that be epic. I have to admit that I've gained a grudging respect for O'Brien this Fall. Now, if it all turns out that he's been doing nothing more than working on the Penske File all year and bails after one year leaving the Cult's heart ripped out, he'll be a god damned hero!

It would be amazing. Seeing the cult turn on him would be a sight to behold.
O'Brien's not going to be as highly thought of and his stock is not going to be as high as it is right now for years. This is as good as things are going to be a PSU for quite some time and the shine from the coaching job he did this year will start to fade away as the losses start to pile up. If he can somehow parlay this season at PSU into an offer for an NFL head coaching job this off-season, he needs to take it.

Or even an OC job for a contenduh. He's a smart guy, and he has to know that those sanctions could quickly turn that job into a cesspool of 50-7 blowouts.

I would so love to watch him Sandusky the cult.
