2028 TE Theo Schott​

With no tight ends committed for 2027, Keenan Bailey is pursuing a two-tight end class in 2028, and Schott’s high on the board as a top target to pair with Sohyda.

A product of Zionsville, Indiana, who’s caught 30 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns (plus three rushing touchdowns) in five games this season, Schott is regarded as one of the top receiving tight ends in the 2028 class. Schott told On3’s Steve Wiltfong in August that he will also visit Indiana, Notre Dame, Oregon and Vanderbilt this fall, so the Buckeyes face strong competition for the No. 13 tight end in the class, but Bailey could use a big recruiting win as Ohio State’s 2027 tight end plan remains unclear.
