He's jumped 120 spots in the recruiting rankings since January and picked up an offer during a visit with the Buckeyes this week. The Fighting Irish are the Crystal Ball favorite to land Shankin, but Ryan Day and Co. "will be really competitive for Shanklin's signature moving forward," according to national recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong.
