2025 IN DB Mark Zackery (Notre Dame Signee)

Would be cool to bring on another BD Giant where I grew up.

“dream school”, grew up liking the Bucks because his uncle was a fan. Also nice when you get camp offer guys.

Zackery, rated as four-star prospect and the No. 22 cornerback in the country by 247sports, worked out in front of Ohio State secondary and cornerbacks coach Tim Walton. Zackery was unaware of the potential to earn a scholarship offer going into the workout.

“I was just prepared for a workout to see what I was capable of doing and work out in front of (Walton),” Zackery said. “Obviously I did pretty good because they offered me a scholarship when I was there. I feel like I earned it. I feel like I’m getting very confident in my skills. I just started playing corner in eighth grade so it’s coming natural to me now and I’m getting better day by day.”

Mark Zackery, WR/DB, Ben Davis

Zackery is one of the top prospects in the Class of 2025 and he showed why during the Giants' 49-28 road victory at Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, Ohio) on Friday. He made big plays on both sides of the ball, catching three passes for 109 yards – including a 67-yard touchdown – and returning a fumble 99 yards for a score.

There's so much talk about Devin Sanchez(and for good reason), but Zackery is also very talented. As well as a multi sport star. Buckeyes in the driver seat in this one, IMO.

MARK ZACKERY INCLUDES OSU IN HIS TOP 10

“It felt great getting an offer just because as long as I can remember, I’ve liked Ohio State,” Zackery told Eleven Warriors after receiving his offer in June. “I’ve still got (an OSU) banner hanging up in my room. I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time. Getting this weight off my shoulders and knowing I’ll keep putting the work in and getting an offer from the school I’ve loved for a long time feels pretty good.”
