One day a man decides to buy a talking parrot. So he goes to a pet store. The owner tells the man he has one bird left, and that the bird will repeat any word it hears. So the man buys the bird and takes it home and starts talking to it. But the bird never repeats a word. Whats wrong?

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10.

What is the total?

Did you get 5000?

The correct answer is actually 4100.
