ala Ginn lining up at fullback in the I and motioning out...osugrad21 said:tOSU could show a basic I formation pre-snap and work a player like him in motion ala Reggie Bush. Suddenly you have the Pro-Twins or even Trips look. The possibilities are endless.
bukIpower said:There was probably alittle more buzz going into '03 with Will Smith's class coming back, but I like this class probably alittle more because of the explosiveness that alot of our players on offense can supply. Not to mention a defense that in my opinion played extremely well for the later parts of the season. Besides the last drive against Purdue with Orton in the game I was very happy with the way our defense was playing. Its good to be a buckeye right now, and I'm even more excited because I believe at least 2-4 in coming freshman will have a big time impact. GO BUCKS.
I do have my go to plays, but running the same crap over and over bores the hell out of me. I like to run and throw alot from the aces bunch formation, but the 'I' is still my formation of choice. I-formation HB option pass is my favorite "cheeser" play. The defense drops into pass coverage, while I run the option normally. If I have a long field ahead of me, I'll stop short of the first down and do the goalline QB boot right, and send Hall deep.bukIpower said:Ironbuk.... I bet you're the type of player that runs one play OVER AND OVER! haha.
But you have to admit when MoC was running and they ran the off tackle play to the right side over and over and over and they knew it was coming and they still could not stop it (all regular season that is) that was great, execution at its finestIronBuckI said:I do have my go to plays, but running the same crap over and over bores the hell out of me.

Good point
Maybe we need a simulator to test recruits on before they sign their LOI?
