Great backs can make unblocked guys miss. He is not a great back but he's getting paid like one. For the record, I'm not talking about the play where he was immediately tackled after taking the handoff. That wasn't on him

I feel like this is the type of historical win that OSU has had against Bert lead teams. Even with Tressel, it always seems like a relief once OSU wins, even though it's comfortable.

ok - the timing made me wonder - even great backs get tackled by unblocked dudes

We've been spoiled by guys like Hyde, Tre, Judkins etc....not every back is going to be that guy realistically.

This was sort of the same as last year. Really didn’t have answers for their offense. Unlike last year the offense is finishing drives though.

Would be nice if the defense could finish the game strong. To only give up 13 after a performance like this would sort of be impressive

Picking up 3rd and shorts today are strangely the one thing we're doing well.

Texas went man on us and it worked mostly cause we got tight and they were physical with him. And most off All till the last drive we rotated so much Jeremiah was only on the field half or a 3rd of the plays. Illinois learned the wrong lesson and has tried to go man all game.
