The Illini's recent home loss to Minny may have placed them closer ro the bubble than they'd wish to be.

I'll update the lines on Tuesday morning.

They're not on the bubble, much as Illinois fans might wish they were. Big Ten will be a four-bid league this season unless one of the Big Four does not win the tourney.

Joe Lunardi has them as a #10 seed as of today.

A chance to clinch a share of the Big Ten championship and there are still tickets available? :smash:

This might be the last chance I get to see Turner, Buford, and/or Lighty in person. :frown2:

The Schott better be rocking tonight.

Heck if I know. I skimmed back through Lighty's thread and can't seem to find what I'm remembering. Maybe it was just a discussion regarding whether or not he would burn the chance at a med. redshirt to play in the tourney last year. Sheesh, my brain is broked.

Illinois looking for payback against Turner, Ohio State - Bolingbrook, IL - Bolingbrook Reporter

COLUMBUS, Ohio ? Minutes after a 19-point win at Illinois in mid-February, Ohio State guard Evan Turner put the finishing touches on the most decisive loss swallowed by the Illini this season.

"You all witnessed the 'Valentine's Day massacre,' " Turner wrote on Twitter, minutes after compiling 16 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Now Illinois is looking for revenge.

"We still remember Evan Turner's tweet and what he said, that it was a Valentine's Day massacre,'' Illinois forward Mike Davis said. "So we're taking that to heart, and we're going to try and be a little bit different up there.

"It was a massacre. That's (an insult) to us, especially on our home court. So we've got to take that to heart tomorrow and just play our butts off.''

Cont'd ...
