If the president of the university had any clue, she'd announce the firing of John L. Williams, and then figure out who's going to be the one to conduct the search for his replacement - starting immediately.

With four straight losses, it will be pretty apparent a change has to be made. And it's pretty obvious that you're not going to find a new coach down at the Mayfair, so a committee needs to be put together to find him because they can't do it in-house.

Fire him on Oct. 16, so they can get someone put in place as soon as the regular season is over, so they'll have time to put together a recruiting class.
