Wow, JLS in the post game...lost it there. I love how he admits they deserved to plant the flag on their field, then he says he tried to break it up, then pauses...and waits....and slaps himself

I'm not sure if that was supposed to be a reference to Weis in the ND game last week, we all heard how much JLS was whining about that fight on the sidelnes last week, complaining to the NCAA or whatever his spat was about. The MSU team just can't stay out of trouble, they should have never gotten into all of this "flag planting" crap. They brought it on themselves, I love how they tried to defend the 50 yard line last week too...too bad the Irish were classier than them.
by the transitive property, i guess that makes notre dame as good as illinois
Transitive property doesn't apply to football

Besides, would you really want to say that ND is better than OSU since they had no problems running over Penn State all game? :) Look at it this way, ND just initiated the Sparty meltdown in the 3rd quarter last week, rather than letting Sparty begin AFTER the game as usual.
BTW, speaking of Sparty meltdowns, here was a great one from a Michigan sportcaster. Really unbelieveable. He does a lot of screaming, starts sayin' some crazy stuff about the halfway mark, and generally was very entertaining

Anyway, two games in a row now with MSU fearing a midfield flag plant, this time Illinois goes ahead and does it. Is this going to be a new MSU tradition?
