The bad secondary also plays into the running game too. Those guys can't tackle when ball carriers get to the 2nd level. scUM's run D has been nearly as bad. It looks like Mike Martin is still dinged and Craig Roh is still playing out of position.I don't know if it's because this is a home game for UM or because Zook coaches Illinois or because I don't think Illinois has a good enough passing game to exploit UM's horrid pass defense, but my gut feeling is that UM lucks into another win this weekend a la against ND and Indiana this year.

I don't understand why it takes them so long to makr these changes. He will be 15-20 lbs underweight due to the position he was originally conditioned for, but he at least gives you some value as a pass rusher.
