This team does not do a very good job on screens on the ball or off the ball. I don't know if it is a speed thing with our shooters but I don't see them getting much separation from their defenders even when they do rub off the screener tight.

Good observation. Also, on the other end of the floor, it does seem that other teams are having success with screens and are persisting in running them. The past three games especially teams just run ball screen after ball screen at the top of the key. It was especially infuriating during the MSU game, where most of them were *moving* screens.

On our end of the floor, we seem to run them infrequently, and as you said, get very little out of it.

Losing 2 roadies versus teams with 20+ wins who rarely lose at home is one thing, losing tonight would be something else. I don't see it happening.

Illinois plays tough on the road but they seem to find ways to lose. I expect tonight it will happen again.

:oh:

If I'm Thad, I put Lighty/Craft on McCamey the entire game. Tisdale is an overrated [censored], he isn't beating us. McCamey is badass though, and I would be happy to see him hounded for the entire game.

He may not be beating us but he's damn sure keeping Illinois in the game.

Someone needs to guard that bat-eared freak.

Looks like Thad and I saw Buford get yanked down after that ball was lose, just before Tisdale's second 3-pointer, but the refs missed it.

Tisdale also hammered LIghty on the play where Dallas got the follow dunk.

Amazing how the Buckeyes don't even get obvious calls at home.

Lighty looking way off his game again tonight. Missed a wide open Sullinger under the basket earlier and his shot selection and decision making isn't what it usually is.

Teams lately have been draining 3's all over our defense. What gives?

That's not just new this year - that's been an achilles heel of ours in recent years.
