That's easy. Orlando Pace!

Defensively we are fine, offensively we are average, but if we had an Orlando on the line, even our back could see and hit the hole. Forget about rush end sacks from that side. No doubt about it, give me Pace.

I honestly like stx choice. There was something special about that kid.
To this day I am surprised he never got a real shot to lead an Nfl team.
The team he Qb'd was the best team in the nation and should've been national champions.
Robert Smith would be my other choice.

I think it's pretty impressive that we have some Heisman winners, some Heisman runners-up, and some NFL hall-of-famers that haven't received any votes yet.

in order: top 5

pace-best player in the history of college football
griffin-everyone mentions eddie..but in college archie was the tops..
johnson-that one-two punch of archie and pete...
smith-would love to have one more out of him on the d-end...maybe the biggest difference maker (match-up wise) with pace and the big kat...ever....
tatum-as a safety....nough said there

these are just based on this years squad....

Well, if you wanna go that route, about 80% of the guys in this poll would get their butts kicked too. Should we replace Chic Harley with Steve Bellisari because of this?:wink2:

So what if Grange only weighed 145 lbs? Nobody since Grange revolutionized and raised the profile of the sport like he did, and arguably, he was as dominant on the field as any college football player ever. I never said he'd belong on today's football field. Hell, he's smaller than today's kickers.

WTF are you talking about? I may be mistaken but I don't think the guy ever threw a pass for KC. I believe he was there for two years and never played
How's that equate to giving him plenty of chances? :roll1:
In his time with the Rams he threw a few passes but either way, that's not quite giving him a chance.

UHH Ashland !!You do realize that KC saw Germaine throw everyday in practice for 2 years and doing well in practice puts you on the field during games!!!
I also sort of remember Germaine playing so bad in a pre-season game with the Rams that they cut him within the next day or so.

I was hoping that he was what all you guys said he was as KC needed (still do)
a good young back-up as I am not impressed with Todd Collins.
