If OSU loses out on a big time recruit, where do you like to see them end up at? My list goes something like:

  1. Lower level B10 schools (bottom feeders the last few years)
  2. Other B10 schools (not including PSU, scUM)
  3. PSU
  4. scUM
  5. D1 school excluding: top 10 programs, SEC and ND
  6. Top 10 programs excluding: SEC and ND
  7. SEC
  8. ND
I'm just curious what other people think and how far down scUM is for a lot of people on here.

First, it really angers me when I see a kid, any kid, from Ohio in maise and blue.

Second, I hate to see anyone with any talent, from anywhere, go to ND.

Third, I wonder who is sneaking money to the family when I see an Ohio kid end up at USC or UCLA.

I'f I had to lose recruits to other schools, i'd definitely prefer it not to be Michigan or Penn State. If its an in-state kid with an offer, then they should never be wearing anything with blue.

I wouldn't mind seeing kids going to Cincinnati right now, or Michigan State. Northwestern with Fitzgerald or even Iowa/Wisconsin. The big10 needs to freaking step up, and part of that has to do with recruiting. Keep talent in the midwest, and start luring talent from the other regions.

Outside of the B10. I don't mind seeing kids going to quality schools where they will get a good education. Preferably a school that isn't making headlines every weekend with arrests or scandals. Stanford right now seems to be a trendy pick. Obviously they have a Michigan Man at the helm, but it's one who seems to have turned against Michigan so that works for me.

As long as Weiss is at ND, I wish nobody to go there. Screw them.

You have to have lived in the Bay Area for a while to realize how arrogant the folks in Palo Alto are. They make Michigan and Notre Dame fans pikers in the our-fecal-matter-hath-not-an-aroma race. Send the kid to Cal if he has to go West.

If the kid's from Ohio, I'd prefer it be a big-time program from out of conference and far away. Pretty much any will do.

If he's from Michigan, I'd prefer MSU.

If he's from any other state, I'd prefer it to be any of his in-state schools.

I'd say I'd be cool with a kid going to USC, or a lower level B10 school, and definitely no problem with a kid going to Cincinnati. But I would never want a kid to go to Notre Dame or TSUN! I would actually root against them for their careers

It's two-fold, I like Dantonio and he fits the enemy of my enemy is my friend. They're not getting too much talent yet, but enough to be a considerable thorn in UM's side. Until they beat OSU more than once in a blue moon, I welcome a stronger Sparty squad under MD.

tsun is the only team I actually care about losing a kid to. My views on the charachter defect of an Ohio kid, with an OSU offer, that would pull a Judas on his home state are well known.

All the rest are just annoying.

Keep them in the Big Ten - other than Catholepistemiad.

I agree with those who argue Catholepistemiad needs to come back strong and preserve the rivalry. That needs to happen - but later rather than sooner. Preferably after I am dead.

Till then they can bulldoze the stadium when they level Flint.
