IMO, we need to start working a few more of the bench guys in, I mean, what happens when it comes time, and those guys are needed for subs, and they still have frosh jitters...

I recommend at least using Wallace and Lauderdale more often .

we will run out of juice just like with T. Dials' senior year....

Agreed. Wallace provides a lot of athleticism and energy to the game when he get his chances. Problem is...he hasn't gotten many. Lauderdale I believe can be effective at times as well but he doesn't see enough playing time to help him improve. I think he could prove to be more of an inside presence...he could be a big body banger while Twiggs and Koufos stand out behind the 3 point line all day.

That's the point. They shouldn't be behind the 3 point line. I understand they have the range but they need to learn to play a little inside ball rather than settle for that outside shot all the time.

with the bigs underneath they can block out so the others can get better rebounds from range...

problem is, it seems those exterior players seem to run away as soon as the ball goes up..

whatever, confidence is a good thing...
in some ways...

but the reality is, that when Hunter runs out of stamina, and Koufous never really learns to be an inside big man, then whose gonna pick up the slack?

BJ Mullins

Training Koufos to play down low with the big boys seems to be unimportant to the coaching staff since he will more than likely be moving to the forward position next year.

Where is there a rule that those guys dont box out and crash the boards. If thats our policy or game strategy then something is seriously flawed. Yes you want one guy deep to prevent the breakouts but the backside perimeter men are free to crash the boards and more successfully if KK, Twigs are pulling their men to the perimeter. David Lighty should always be crashing the boards. Let Butler stay back and the front side perimeter player. We need 3 to the boards on every shot to be successful with this group.

You are missing my point. My point was that I would rather see Butler, Lighty, Turner, and J. D. shooting three-pointers than Kosta and Twigg. I am in full agreement that these guys should also crash the boards and Butler should stay back unless he has penetrated and then one of the other wings needs to get back but I was talking about who should be shooting the 3s.
