#OhioState offers Hinsdale Central (Ill.) 2014 TE Ian Bunting.

Sick film. Looks like a near clone of Mark Andrews and fellow IL TE Nic Weishar to me. I slightly prefer Andrews but would love to see any of them end up here. I know the staff LOVES Blazevich but they must have seen something from him in person (or other schools for that matter)...the film I saw is pretty underwhelming but he has offers from almost everyone, so I am clearly missing something. That being said, I really like Bunting and his potential. Tons of athleticism, great hands, great frame, and a more than willing blocker downfield.

Hinsdale Central duo visit Wisconsin: Hinsdale Central junior center Brian Allen and junior tight end Ian Bunting spent Saturday at Wisconsin taking in a spring practice at Wisconsin. Allen had an offer from the Badgers before the visit and Bunting added an offer from the Badgers on Saturday night.

"(Wisconsin) wanted to see me in person to make sure I matched up with what I was advertised to be size-wise before they offered me," Bunting said. "Wisconsin is pretty high on the list. They're famous for how they use their tight ends and how they have produced tight ends over the years."

Football recruiting | Bunting enjoys visit to Oregon
Edgy Tim On High School Football
April 8, 2013

Hinsdale Central junior tight end Ian Bunting was green with envy over the weekend after taking a visit to Oregon.

"I loved it," Bunting said. "The staff at Oregon is a great group and the campus was beautiful. Everything is so green and the buildings are very modern.

"Some people think that Oregon is just about flashy uniforms, but after visiting I can see that it's the people behind the operation at Oregon that make that football program and school so great."

Bunting said a school's location won't have a huge impact on his decision.

"As far as distance, that isn't the biggest factor," he said. "No matter if I'm an hour away or 10 hours away, I'm not going to be home much. My sister goes to Missouri and doesn't play a sport, and she's never home either. "

Bunting, who has 21 scholarship offers, will visit Notre Dame this weekend and Michigan the following weekend.
