Fuckers coming after me. I take pride in killing groundhogs. I killed 1 with a baseball bat for my dad several years ago. Last summer I put a good shot on one with a pitchfork, but it ran away. A few years ago I was golfing with my brother and saw a gh running towards some tall grass. I hit the gas and headed for the edge of the grass. When the dumbass gh got a few feet from the grass it stopped, stood up and looked right at me. I caught it with both sets of tires. If I ever see a gh standing on the side of the road within 1/4 mile of my house I'm going to try to take it out. They are one of the stupidest animals out there.

The shovel isn't heavy enough, I tried that. The bat worked best since I was able to kill it in 2 shots. You would almost have to stab it with a shovel to kill it.
My buddy and I gave the family of gh's that lived behind his house all kinds of shit last summer. Any time he saw one he would shoot it with his pellet gun. The little bastards had so many hiding places that they were usually able to get someplace safe before I could get close enough to hit them. The one time I hit it I used another pitch fork to block one of its holes. When I made a run at it it went for the hole I had blocked. I hit the little bastard dead on with the pitch fork, but didn't even break the skin. It started to run away before I was able to hit it again. They're dumb, but they're tough little bastards!
