I Just Want To Watch The World Burn

Always tastes bitter to me.

you should selectively study hipster culture. Maybe your beard isn’t long enough to make a smooth cuppa?

I’ve been stocking coffee like some people stock toilet paper the past 11 mos. My local roaster sells 5lb bags of fair trade, shade grown, all that shit. Gimme a custom grind at home and a selection of brewing/steeping techniques and I’m ready to face the day.

I’ve been well caffeinated if nothing else during COVID

Same. I like my coffee like I like my women.

Same here. Dean's Beans gets me a 5 pound bag from roasting to my door in four days. (Three pre-Covid) Aside from road trip McDonald's coffee, I'm a snob about the stuff.

Understandable. It is bitter, which is why people add cream and sugar to it. I started drinking it in college and decided to go black and bitter from the beginning. 30+ years later, I'm thoroughly addicted.

I grew up drinking coffee for as long as I could remember. European mom who never thought that it was anything but ok. To this day I’ll drink it black and oily, creamy or even with sugar if I must. Just give it to me because nobody wants to be around me unless I’ve had my first half pot.

Way more studies find coffee to be a health benefit than a health risk. For me, it's also an anti-oxidant and helps fight off gout.
