I broke my hand during football practice. All my weight and another guy's weight plus added force from the fall all hit my hand at once, when I landed.
Last April when I broke my right hand I was playing football (This was backyard tackle) and I landed wrong, and I bent my hand back too far. Got a buckle fracture. Hurt more than this one.
