I bet! My leg was down by the ankle & when I did it I thought I'd try to stand on it & it sickeningly flopped on me.
I remember almost passing out,it got very dark & I felt like a million pins were poking me & I got really warm. Right before I sat down.
They bumped up the surgery due to fear of the bone popping through the skin it was so displaced. I had no idea how bad it was. I dragged myself around the house getting ready till my boss got there to take me to the hospital.
This happened after midnight too.
The morphine really did not even help. Messed me up though.

I wish I would've passed out, it was awful.. I fell off a swing at school. I know, awesome story. :lol:

Your incident definitely sounds pretty agonizing..

Let's see here....I've broken every finger on both hands. my left pinkie has been broken 4 separate times.....

I broke my nose in wrestling....

After my elbow dislocated the last time, my Ulnar Collateral ligament essentially snapped at both ends which broke both my Ulna and Humerus when the ligament pulled away.

the same thing happened at the top of my left arm when I tore my Biceps tendon. Cheapies I know but they count dammit.

I've broken my right big toe 3 times.

and just for fun, on the same pitch that tore my biceps, my shoulder dislocated AND my scapula went THROUGH my Lat. Yes that ended my pitching career :moo:

Yep & after 2 rounds of that I told them I saw a show called "When Anesthesia Fails" and they said I watch too much t.v. I said no I watch the right things!
This woman had to have surgery & they give you 3 things in the cocktail to knock you out,a paralytic,a pain killer & something to put you out. The only thing that worked was the paralytic,you can guess the rest.
She remembered every cut they made on her & everything else. Her anesthesiolgist knew it too after she could talk again & he was scared.
They told me not to worry,I don't remember a freakin' thing. I was scared before though.

I visited with that nasty little lady after they removed the end of my collarbone. I am tellin ya, if you have to get addicted, that is the shit.

Just how old should people be when they go into the Nursing home? hmmm and just how old do you think I am?
