I am getting City BBQ for lunch today

I have been there dozens of time and now I am comtemplating a visit there later today. I had originally planned on The Big Fat Greek Cuisina, but I may have to change my plans...

Just returned from Prosser's...a small, family-owned homestyle buffet. On the buffet today: catfish stew, chicken and dumplings, baked macaroni and cheese, green beans, collared greens, turnip greens, perlot, fried chicken, fried shrimp, Rice, Gravy, salad, fresh fruit, coleslaw, potato salad, and a variety of pies, puddings, and cakes.

I got my $6 worth :biggrin:

We have City BBQ in Centerville, now we need a Southern homestyle place like grad was talking about here in South Dayton. I'm sure there's one somewhere on the West Side......
BTW....what the heck is perlot......
