I am getting City BBQ for lunch today

Molly Woo's for me, some Spicy Tuna Roll, Dragon Roll, and Shrimp Pad Thai. Washed down with a couple Pale Ales. All with the company of a very attractive IT Geek from Bank One (and one real Geek). I guess he was the wingman.

You guys don't know what BBQ is.

I just got back from Memphis and had the best BBQ from a joint called Rendezvous.

Well-- true enough.. I have to make my own if I want anything really good...(I don't have all day to be watching a pit very many days though) but Pig Iron's pretty good if you like KC style ribs and their brisket is damned good some days... the pulled pork is still better than most around here, but pretty subpar in the grand scheme of the universe... But of course... like sex... even bad Q is still pretty good.

I have been to rendezvous several times as well. It is a classic BBQ joint, they do the dry rub type ribs which are quite tasty, but not my favorite type. Very cool place though.

Dreamland BBQ in Birmingham is awesome and very traditional probably my favorite of any I have been too.

Sticky Fingers in Charleston is pretty good too, just a little too touristy for me.

I have my fingers crossed.

I believe I have been to dreamland also.

Used to be a local place here, they guy hunted and fished with a lot of celebrities. Always was busy, they just up and shut down one day. We really lack a good BBQ place locally.

I prefer Texas BBQ myself. I've been pretty fortunate to expereince some of the best BBQ in the U.S (North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City, Texas).

County Line is Austin, TX is probably my favorite.
