By Sue Chang SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- General Motors said Wednesday that China's Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machines Co. was unable to finalize the purchase of Hummer and as a result, it has started the process to shut down the unit. "GM will now work closely with Hummer employees, dealers and suppliers to wind down the business in an orderly and responsible manner," GM said.
