I thought Oregon State was supposed to be going places?

they are getting waxed at home by Seattle (a 6-9 Independent team) 88-41 with 3 minutes to go

99-48 final.. epic ass kicking

Tied for the biggest ass kicking in Oregon State history.

Seattle lost by 19 to Harvard before this game, then by 13 to Sacramento State after it.

Looking at the standings to date and some of the "upsets" earlier in the year, some don't really look so surprising (while others look even bigger) now that we have a better idea of the quality of such teams like:

Kentucky 21-1
Villanova 20-1
Syracuse 22-1
UAB 18-3
Temple 18-4
Arkansas 10-11
Morgan State 16-7
Oklahoma 12-9
Pittsburgh 16-5
Indiana 9-11
Cornell 18-3
Colgate 6-15
Alabama 13-8
Harvard 14-4

Gotta put the L'ville win over Syracuse with that one. Crazy being on the same day.

This was Louisville's 5th straight win over Syracuse, and while they've lost a few more than expected, they're definitely not Rutgers. It was on the road, though.

They were over a 4-1 dog, coming off a near 20 point road beat down from St Johns and playing Syracuse at Syracuse who had lost a grand total of 1 game all year. I don't know about you but I didn't see anyone calling that game ahead of time or even listing UL as a potential upset yesterday so to me it was one of the more shocking upsets of the year.

I know in the rcash betting world it screwed up a lot of parlay cards. :wink2:
