The scariest feeling in the world is when you're driving on an icy road and your vehicle starts spinning. There's absolutely nothing you can do except pray until you finally crash into something and stop. Luckily for me that something was a snow bank and damage was minimal. Put something heavy in the back of your truck over the rear axle, seems to help.

Here's worse.. hydroplaning... with snow you semi-expect the slide.. but hydroplaning is totally unexpected... "
