Going to hit 45 here in southwest New Hampshire today. Lakes are not frozen, no snow either. I have a feeling we will pay the price for this in March.
the 10 years I was in Alaska there were two winters where it didn't snow until February although it was plenty cold. It feels surreal to be this late in the winter and not see snow in places that get a lot of snow. I haven't seen snow on the ground here at my house in Arizona even once in 26 years. One time about 20 years ago it snowed huge silver dollar sized flakes for about a half an hour but it didn't stick.

back home on the Louisiana coast, it snowed and accumulated in 1989.

to this day, that's the only time I've ever witnessed that happening.
only other time I have ever seen snow on the ground was on top of a mountain in Colorado.

went for a scenic drive through the Mountains of West Texas and Southern New Mexico today.
was 34° at 5,800' but no snow anywhere.
one of the scenic overlooks was of the tallest peaking Texas (8,751'). but again no snow on the top.

Ice this morning and now calling for over an inch of rain. Nice wind gusts too. Why do I live here? At least the plows have hit my street twice this morning with salt.

I was talking to a buddy in Nebraska yesterday and they had a blizzard warning or watch going on. So, it could be worse.

Here in Phoenix it's getting down into the 30's at night but it's nice and sunny and in the 50's during the day. It would be perfect golf weather but there's just enough of a breeze to make it too chilly to be outdoors for too long

Just left daughter's in C'bus, and was cold, a little snow but didn't stick. Here in central valley of California, we're riding at freezing or a little higher. Cold enough that have a frost delay on golf course, about an hour or so wait. Will warm up and thaw the greens when sun gets over the trees a bit later in morning.

I am not feeling bad for you or @DubCoffman62 ;-) Forecast is for highs in the low 20s next week.

Today reminds me of winters at OSU though. Cold and rain.

Remember the winters in Clintonville, when Mom came in, woke me out of a sound and warm sleep and informed me that driveway needed shoveling so Dad could go to work. Happy to do, but disliked a tad more than getting up for Citizen-Journal paper route. That was every day...here in California, when we want snow, we drive to it, and when we've had enough, we drive back home. (We've got other problems, like a governor that is posturing to be President, and who declares he wants health care for all, with a $68 billion (with a B) deficit. Believe you come out ahead....
