The path the NWS is projecting for Harvey is unusual. It will hit the Texas coast near Corpus Christi and then go inland about 75 miles towards San Antonio. Then stall there and go back to the coast, go offshore, strengthen and head east maybe hitting Houston or even in Louisiana. Huge area with a forecast of 25-35 inches of rain. The school district in Austin is sandbagging schools.

Thoughts and prayers folks.. I have several coworkers who evacuated... its gonna be a long weekend for a lot of folks... including me having to work this storm :(
welp, riding this bitch out just east of Houston.

so far projections for this are ain't bad.
gonna get a healthy dose of rain, but not much in the form of winds and surge.

gonna have to wait and see what it does when it tracks back this way after landfall.

Both you guys need to be especially alert to flooding issues, depending where most of the rain gets dumped. Stay safe.
