How's the weather?

Brutus, the weather dog, reports that the snow today in Indy is wet with a moderate packing density. Good for turning the roads to messes and passable for small snowball arms.

Just shitty snain down here. I'm guessing that North Slope, the local faux snow ski hill, is having one of their worst seasons ever.

Grey, murky, windy and not warm at all. Whoever is responsible for the weather here in the desert is fired.

When it comes to weather, I agree. When you learn to embrace the snow, cold, and ice, you'll be changing your mindset. Every day will have a little bit of sunshine in it.

that's how I feel about the heat and humidity down here.

it's freaking hot and miserable for months at a time.
but to get through it, I just remind myself how much I hate being cold.
gets me through the hot quite easily.


plus we're surrounded by water down here.
if I'm fishing, the sun is cooking, no wind, ridiculous humidity, I can just jump in to cool off a bit.

if it's 40? and windy when I'm in my boat, I have no choices but to freeze my ass off or go home.

Chilly here this morning, but shouldn't be any more precip for a few days which is a sign of relief. We got some snow and while it wasn't a whole lot we had people struggling to keep up

Feb. 22 and I see one of the oak trees behind the house already budding. Almost 50 degrees here right now. Have to say, I wouldn't mind a few more easy winters like this one has been so far...
