Bah, it's a bit colder than normal today but at least the sun is out now. And the front will bring us some balmy weather this weekend in the low 30's.

Bring on the snow! This winter has sucked so far - too warm and dry. It's making people soft in this city, the local news now hypes up every snow like it's a major event.

-1 Fehrenheit and BITTER freezing here just northeast of Kabul. Supposed to get 48 inches of snow over next 48 hours...but we shall see. Sounds a bit excessive to me...drama queen meteorologists.

I see we we are at in Ghazni is expecting some snow too! Good thing I'm in the Alps where the 18 inches of snow we got today meant rocking snowboarding all day!
