I'd take 9-2, although we could take them all. Ill. is always tough, very well coached and talented. scUM is playing well and also pretty well coached. Both games will be tough. Wisky's situation has alot to do with how they are playing. If personnel problems persist, they are toast. If they are taken care of, they will be tough. MSU is always very, very, tough at Breslin. But, I will say this, if we shoot the ball as well as we have shown we can, and we avoid injuries and foul trouble, we have a better than 60 percent shot at taking them all.

Agee that MSU is a long shot, but I am not sold on Wisky. The hits they have taken to their bench could be costly. It will be tough - but it is winnable.

Illinois, on the other hand, has a little bit of payback on their minds. They get one shot this year and wont care where that game is being played. A big part of MSUs win here was not wanting to go 1-3. Illinois will have that kind of fire in their bellies.

I say we lose those two and at least one more stumble on the road - be it Wisky or someone else. Michigan, Iowa and NW are all cabable of beating us at home on any given night.

What I really like is that after the Iowa game Saturday we don't have back-to-back road games the rest of the year.

I told my friend after our second exhibition game that the Buckeyes would win 22 games this year and I'll confirm that thought at this point. We definitely have the talent and coaching to run the table but the game at MSU is going to be a dogfight. I think there may be two other games where our shooting isnt up to par and we may drop them but overall every game is winnable. Its a great time to be a Buckeye.

Does anyone else thing there is no team in the country that we cant beat on a given night with this team? I do.

Yeah I feel the same way. What it takes to win in the tourney is great play from the PG, and I honestly think that Butler should be top 10 in the country in pure pg.

He knows when to put his foot on the pedal and take his shots, and he knows when he needs to get other guys involved.

Also we have a very good inside presecne in Dials who can score on anyone.

We shoot the ball from the arc as good as anyone in the country.

And most of all we have a big game coach. Matta won at Xavier in the tourney, and he won at Butler in the tourney and he won last year it what was basically our tourney against Ill. since we couldnt go to the tourney.

If we are still standing in the final four, I for one will not be suprised.

well i was surprised that a lot of the analysts actually gave us some love by giving us an average ranking of 10th and one guy gave us 7th.:) illinois and msu are my big worriers but i dont even want to bother predicting because its about impossible anymore. wiscy loses to ndsu and our bench could beat ndsu. iowa gets absolutely DESTROYED by msu then comes back and beats indiana by 12? wtf?

We have 11 games left. All of which seem very winnable. I like the fact that we have Illinois at home. Our toughest games are going to @ Iowa, @ scUM, @ Wisky, @ MSU, and vs. Ill.

01/28 at Iowa 8:05 PM
01/30 Florida A&M 8:30 PM
02/04 Minnesota 3:00 PM
02/09 at Michigan 7:00 PM
02/12 No. 7 Illinois 1:00 PM
02/15 at No. 21 Wisconsin 8:00 PM
02/18 Northwestern 12:00 PM
02/22 at No. 12 Michigan State 8:00 PM
02/25 Michigan 1:30 PM
03/01 at Northwestern 8:00 PM
03/05 Purdue

I think we win all of our homes games, with a very close one against Ill. I hope we can pay back MSU at thier place. I see us losing 2 games the rest of the way.

I think they will be out of the toughest games I listed above and the ones I think we lose most are @ Wisky, and @ Iowa.

I tried to tell you guys a couple weeks ago, what was going to happen.
