How well do you know the location of each of the states?

88% 78 miles

I think they should have given us some less stringent rulings on the interior states with no surrounding states. Missing something by a few milimeters is pretty sad when you're dropping a state into the middle of the map.

Nice educational tool though.

i'm thinking if anybody actually got 98-100% on their first try, then their first 10 states were, Texas, Florida, New-York, California, Nevada, Utah, Louisiana, Maryland, or something to that effect, in that order, because there is no way with states like South Dakota, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Missouri, Iowa, etc. as your first few states that you can put them in the exact spot................even after a few tries it seems nearly impossible

Did you know if they split Alaska into TWO states... that Texas would still be THIRD largest ??
This of course is assuming you divide the state in half. Hypothetically, I could take 100 square miles of Alaska and make it a state, which would then leave the remaining area the largest state and Texas would still be second. :p

0 miles average error

I had Utah as the 3rd or 4th state - and nailed it

What, was Arizona one of your first two states?
