How much snow will fall in C-Bus on 2-12/2-13, 2007?

I'm looking at 3-4 days of on/off snowfall here(Taos).
The mountains will get lots(feet).
I may get 6-8 inches.

C-bus will get this slow mover but how much moisture will be left?

Plenty. These types of systems tend to absorb enough moisture from the Gulf of Mexico to hammer everyone through the Apps before tapping the Atlantic as it makes its way eastward.

Wow. You ain't kiddin'. It looks like that little yellow-red patch is gonna land right on top of me.

That means the radar is getting strong returns off of bit ice areas aloft.

Not good. All that ice/snow will eventually come down....

All that blue is cooler temperatures and higher cloud tops...meaning heavier precipitation. It's just sucking moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico. I spent the previous 5 winters in St. Louis, and this is one of the more impressive satellite shots I've seen showing how a low pressure system draws moisture in.

Damn look at that......

I'd hate to be in Louisiana/Alabama/Mississippi/Florida/Georgia. That's going to produce a few tornadoes....
